Q1. Is Cadet College Wana a recognized institution?


Ans: Yes, Cadet College Wana is fully recognized Federal Government institution. The college is financed by the Federal Government through FATA Secretariat and run by a Board of Governors. The Governor KPK is the Chairman of the Board with the General Officer Commanding 9 Division as the Vice Chairman.


Q2. Where is Wana? How someone can visit Wana?


Ans: Wana is historic town of South Waziristan Agency. It is located at a distance of 140 KMs North West of Dera Ismail Khan (KPK), at an altitude of 4850 feet above sea level, Wedged between towering mountains. From Dera Ismail Khan and Tank districts of KPK public transport is available. It takes not more than three hours to reach Wana via a newly constructed road.


Q3. What is the Climate of Wana?


Ans: Wana is famous for its pleasant weather from March to October. The weather becomes chilly in December and remains till February.


Q4. What is the eligibility criterion for induction in Class 8th?


Ans:
  • A candidate must have passed class 7th at the time of admission
  • Age limit is 12 to 14 years. (Six months age relaxation for Hafiz-e-Quran).

Ans: Syllabus of 7th Class (Fedral Text Book Board) will be used for entrance exam.
  • English : 100 Marks
  • Mathematics : 100 Marks
  • Urdu and Islamiyat : 100 Marks
  • (Urdu 70, Islamiyat 30)
